Especially supportive and loving down through the years, were Niece Phyllis Meyers and family and Lee Williams and family. Boo loved all of his nieces and nephews very much and was always happy when they payed him a visit.

Boo accomplished much good during his life, raising many children to be mature respectable adults. He held down numerous jobs to provide for his family, including, logging in the lumber industry, working at the lumber mill, working to the fields and finally working at the Department of Transportation of NC.

Boo retired at the age of 62 from D.O.T. of NC. After 22 years. Retired as a leadwork and awarded a certificate by the DOT for his many years of faithful service. He was a hard worker and never missed a day of work.

Boo like to hunt, but loved fishing, taking his boat on the water.

Boo bought property, vehicles, and his home, all mainly with cash. He knew how to save and spend wisely. But mostly he knew how to be content.

Boo was truly content and enjoyed the life he made for himself, his wife and their children.

And we his children loved him very much and hate to let him go. It's very painful to let go.

But the way he lived, the things he taught us, the way he loved us and our mother, this will always live in our hearts, he will be with us always.

We love you Daddy.
